
Our practice has developed a long-standing relationship with women and families in Manhattan and its surrounding communities by offering a history of care and service for over 40 years. We were formerly known as OB-GYN Associates and Kaw Valley Women’s Health Group until we formally established The Women’s Health Group in 1997.
Some of our retired physicians include Rex Fischer, Rudy Haun, and Anne Wigglesworth. Our physicians are all members of the Kansas Medical Society and Riley County Medical Society.
Dr. Catterson was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. She has been practicing in Manhattan since 1995 and has since become actively involved the community. She is active in her local church and volunteers at Flint Hills Christian School.
Dr. Gros was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. If you spend a little time with Dr. Gros, you will find he is an enthusiastic KSU Wildcat fan. He is involved in family life, sports and children’s activities.
Before entering medical school Dr. Bennett worked as an Anthropologist in Central and South America, Mexico and Easter Island. She enjoys the fine arts and supports the McCain Auditorium Performing Arts Series at Kansas State University.
Dr. Priddle and his wife, Angie, were thrilled to return to Manhattan, her hometown, after residency. They have four children who keep their lives full with voice lessons, guitar lessons and traveling sports teams. As a family they enjoy outdoor activities, boating, water skiing, snow skiing and hunting.
Dr. Roles has been in the Manhattan community since 2004 and is originally from Iowa. She and her husband of 12 years have three children — Kayla, Lindsey, and Lauren. Dr. Roles enjoys being the wife of a local farmer.
Dr. Welch is originally from Kansas City, Missouri, and has practiced medicine in Garden City, Wamego and Manhattan, Kansas. She joined The Women’s Health Group in 2006 and serves on the Board of Homecare and Hospice.
Dr. Newcomer received his Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from Kansas State University in 2001 and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kansas-School of Medicine in 2006. He successfully completed his residency at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, Department of OB/GYN in 2010.
Diane received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washburn University in 1995. She worked as a Labor and Delivery/Postpartum nurse.
Staci is originally from Minneapolis, KS. She began her education at the University of Kansas and received degrees in Chemistry and Human Biology. She then received a Bachelors or Science in Nursing degree from Creighton University and worked as a nurse in the neonatal intensive care and postpartum areas.
Jennifer grew up in Wakefield, Kansas, and now resides in Wamego with her three boys. Her time away from the office is spent gardening, scrapbooking and watching her boys play sports.
Stephanie received her degree in Radiologic Technology from Indian Hills Community College in 1999. She completed the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program at the University of Iowa in 2001 and her Bachelor of Science in Radiation Sciences with a specialty in ultrasound in 2003.
Ten years ago, we hoped to start a family. We searched for a practice that would give us personal care during our prenatal experience; someone willing to take into consideration our desires in our birth experience in a practice that was friendly, caring and thoughtful.
