Dr. Welch is originally from Kansas City, Missouri, and has practiced medicine in Garden City, Wamego and Manhattan, Kansas. She joined The Women’s Health Group in 2006 and serves on the Board of Homecare and Hospice. She has been married for 37 years to Lauren Welch, MD, a retired Surgeon and has five children.
Dr. Welch’s personal interests include reading, traveling and speaking Spanish, and her motto is “one day at a time.” She has enjoyed several surgical mission trips to Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Obstetrics and Gynecology for Dr. Welch represents her love of life. She enjoys supporting the lives of all of her patients through obstetrics and surgery.
